I don't post my entire resume here (if I'm applying for a job with you, you already have it).  Instead, here's an overview of the main areas I work in and related skills/experience.

Mostly, I worked in broadcast traffic.  That has nothing to do with flying in a helicopter reporting on rush hour.  It's also called "inventory control" and basically has to do with scheduling commercials and other interstitial material.  It's often part of the sales department. It mostly involves creating broadcast and record logs and fending off AEs and MCOs. ;)

After getting my first MA, I started teaching college.  Then I got an MFA.  Eventually, I went into administration full-time. After leaving that job, I switched careers yet again and am now a Human Data Annotator. I teach AI how to be more human and how to better understand interactions with users. That's what I do now. I've worked with Meta, Apple and was recruited FT to xAI where I worked on the team developing Grok.

Since the mid-eighties I've done a lot of on-camera work, which you can find on my Acting page. Since I went back to work full time from 2017-2024, I had to take a break from acting. However, my new AI work allows me some time to do other things again. So I'm looking at getting back into acting.  As for my freelance writing gigs, they are on my Writing page, of course.  I've also done some work in video production (shooting, editing, producing, writing).
